OUR MISSION

"Des Pierres en Héritage" has been created to safegard and increase the value of the heritage and history of Montfaucon.

If you are like us , passionate about Montfaucon, come and join us with your skills and your knowledge.

The association is made up of five groups:

• The Presbytery : to restore and renovate the building and to provide accommodation for  Pilgrim walkers of the Saint Jacques de Compostelle.
• The Church : to take care of the interior and exterior of the Church, to welcome visitors, to provide information for tourists and visitors and to hold events and concerts in the Church.
• History : to carry out research of  local history,  provide  information for visitors and tourists via leafflets and the internet.
• Community Gardens : to improve the upkeep of the gardens, to provide and grow plants for the village from the Presbytery garden.
• Tracks/Walkways/Historical Monuments : to reopen some tracks and walkways but ensuring the safekeeping and well-being of the local flora and fauna, to restore the historical monuments and to open them as sites of local interest.
